I’ve decided to do a much larger drawing for my Brown Dwarfs project.
This is it after I’d initially put down the masking fluid splatter and applied several layers of graphite.
The masking fluid makes the surface very textured so sometimes it can be hard to evenly apply the graphite dust over the top.
After I’ve rubbed all the masking fluid off with a putty rubber it really transforms the image.
I then started working on the brown dwarf itself.
This is as it stands so far. I need to do more work on the star field.
